The UOBC Mentorship Program provides breast surgeons with personalized guidance to confidently apply advanced oncoplastic concepts in clinical practice.
Led by Gustavo Zucca, MD, PhD, and Jean-Claude Schwartz, MD, PhD, the program combines real case reviews, surgical planning, and direct faculty mentorship to strengthen clinical judgment and improve oncologic and aesthetic outcomes.
Mentorship is where experience becomes judgment.
Great surgeons are not defined only by technical ability, but by consistently making the right decision for each patient.
Our mentorship focuses on developing the clinical reasoning that guides surgical planning, reconstruction choices, complication management, and long-term outcomes.
Discuss your own clinical cases with the faculty.
Develop individualized operative strategies.
Understand why certain approaches are preferred.
Learn prevention and management techniques.
Optimize workflow, confidence, and patient outcomes.
Continue learning beyond the operating room.
