Gustavo Zucca, MD, PhD, is an oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgeon based in São Paulo, Brazil. He practices at leading institutions, including Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz, Hospital Blanc, Hospital Santa Catarina, and Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo.

He earned both his PhD and postdoctoral degree from UNESP and completed advanced training in breast reconstruction at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. Zucca founded the Oncoplastic Training Center (OTC) in Barretos, Brazil, and has dedicated much of his career to the education and training of breast surgeons in Brazil and internationally.

He is the creator and lead developer of Mastotrainer™, a breast surgery simulation platform designed for hands-on training in oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques. In addition to his clinical and educational activities, he has authored scientific publications, book chapters, and educational resources in the field of breast surgery.

His work focuses on advancing breast surgery through clinical practice, surgical education, innovation, and research, with an emphasis on improving outcomes and quality of life for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment and reconstruction.
